WhatsApp prepara una función en la que las imágenes se autoeliminarán

 

La red social WhatsApp avanza en el desarrollo de dos herramientas relacionadas con las fotografías y el uso en diferentes dispositivos. 

 WhatsApp, una de las redes sociales más usadas por las personas en todo el mundo, trabaja en la implementación de dos nuevas funciones. Por una parte, la eliminación de las imágenes después de ser vistas por el usuario, y por otra, el uso de la misma cuenta en hasta cuatro dispositivos a la vez.

Según el portal WaBetaInfo, Whatsapp indicó que las imágenes desaparecerán sin dejar alguna huella y tampoco se almacenarán en la memoria del celular que las ha recibido.

 Esta función, basada en la 'autodestrucción' de las imágenes, recibirá el nombre de 'Expiring Media', que a la vez, incluirá los reconocidos gifs. Sin embargo, aún no es posible saber si el mismo procedimiento ocurrirá con los videos.

Por otra parte, WaBetaInfo explica que la herramienta estará disponible cuando en la aplicación aparezca un ícono rodeado de un círculo. Si en el momento es pulsada la imagen, no se podrá elegir el tiempo que el usuario la quiera guardar. Asimismo, tampoco habrá un texto que indique que la fotografía fue eliminada, como normalmente sucede con los mensajes de texto en la actualidad.

Es importante resaltar que, a pesar de no tener una fecha exacta por parte de la red social para el uso de esta nueva función, ya se encuentra disponible en la versión 2.20.201.1 del sistema operativo Android.

Finalmente, otra de las llamativas funciones que ofrecerá WhatsApp, tiene que ver con el uso de la misma cuenta a la vez en hasta cuatro dispositivos distintos, lo que significa que, además, pronto será posible el uso de 'Whatsapp Web' sin la necesidad de tener el teléfono conectado a una red de internet.
